Powered Tailgate Retrofit (F20)

The Twin Strut Design Powered Tailgate Retrofit includes a dedicated wiring harness for easy installation without cutting or splicing wires, preserving the integrity of the original system. Additionally, the power tailgate features an anti-pinch safety function that will automatically stop and reverse the movement if an obstruction is detected while closing to prevent injury or damage. This added safety measure is compatible with F20/F21 116i / 118i / 120i / 125i / M135i / M140i and also includes a trunk button for added convenience. A foot-activated sensor near the rear bumper, equipped with Kick Sensor technology, is available as an add-on feature.
