Powered Tailgate Retrofit (F5x)

This Powered Tailgate Retrofit (F5x) features a Twin Strut Design and comes equipped with its own wiring harness, eliminating the need for wire cutting/splicing and ensuring the original system remains unaffected. The plug & play installation process does not impact the warranty. Additionally, the power tailgate includes an anti-pinch function to prevent injuries or damage by automatically stopping and reversing the movement if an obstruction is detected while closing. This feature adds an extra layer of safety to the operation. The package also includes a trunk button, trunk handle, key-fob button, and driver door trunk button to ensure seamless compatibility for MINI F55 / F56 / F57 models. For even greater convenience, an optional foot-activated sensor (with Kick Sensor) is available near the rear bumper.
